About Us

We track development. We share what we find.

The field watch is an independent development knowledge platform documenting development programmes and their impact on communities across Ghana

Development projects shape lives. They determine whether a household receives the support it needs, whether a community sees real change, and whether resources translate into measurable outcomes. Yet much of what happens during implementation — the progress, the gaps, the unexpected lessons — rarely makes it into the public conversation.

The Field Watch exists to change that. We go where the work is happening, track what is actually unfolding on the ground, and translate field-level evidence into accessible, well-written stories that inform practitioners, policymakers, donors, and anyone with a genuine interest in how development works in Ghana.
